The Global Transformation Dialogue will explore key global development trends at the intersection of socio-ecological systems and planetary boundaries. Five global leaders will discuss the major challenges facing these systems and how nature-based solutions can address them. The central question to be answered is: What kind of future are we heading towards, and what can we, as a community, offer to shape it? Key Programme elements 

Built on innovation, inclusivity, and equity principles, RCF24ENCA will revolve around five key Themes and Pathways and include: 

  • Keynotes and High-Level Talks: High-profile speakers from IUCN and beyond will address global and regional priorities, and challenges, and propose necessary transformative pathways.
  • Thematic Sessions:  Across the event, five RCF24ENCA themes will be discussed in a structured and facilitated manner to inform IUCN’s future work.  Call for Thematic Sessions and meeting proposals closed on 15 May. 
  • Forum Fair: Driven by IUCN Members and Commissions, the Fair will display innovative ideas, activities and achievements in a dynamic and interactive setting. Call for Stand holders and Posters closed on 15 May.
  • Youth Oasis: Open and inviting space on the 4th floor of the BMCC created to provide a welcoming space for youth participants to engage with RCF24ENCA themes, and fellow youth participants, and build intergenerational connections with professional attendees.
