- International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity (IIFB): The critical role and added value of traditional knowledge and practices within the framework of Target 3 (tbc) (3')
- Esri: The critical role and unique value of mapping tools in showcasing biodiversity and amplifying the presence of Indigenous territories and Local Communities within the framework of Target 3. Randall Billy, Director, International Government Sector (Esri) (3')
A panel discussion about the key challenges and opportunities to achieve KM-GBF Target 3 in the region and the role of Act30 in supporting this (20'). Facilitated by: Carla Danelutti & Diego Juffe (IUCN-MED). Potential panellists include representatives from:
- IUCN: Alberto Arroyo Schnell, Head of Programme and Policy, European Regional Office - EU Policy
- ESRI: Randall Billy
- ICCA: Pablo Dominguez
- IUCN WCPA: Olivier Hymas
Panellists will be asked the two questions: - To IUCN, WCPA and the public - What are the key challenges and opportunities to achieve KM-GBF Target 3 in the European context? (Panellists can choose at least one challenge and one opportunity, max 2 of each - and have 2-3 min to speak).
- To IUCN, ESRI and ICCA - How can ACT 30 support these challenges? (2-3 min to speak)
