Organiser: IUCN CEESP-CEM Task Force on Natural Capital
The objective of this session is to elicit and synthesise the range of perspectives and arguments by IUCN Members on the “Principles to consider in the development of an IUCN Policy on Natural Capital” included in Resolution WCC-2020-Res-120 “Towards a Policy on Natural Capital”.
The session will:
- Help identify areas of consensus and divergence;
- Shed light on the usefulness of the proposed policy principles as a guiding framework for IUCN; and
- Inform any follow-up activities on natural capital by IUCN.
Participants are invited to read the resolution WCC-2020-Res-120 prior to the session.
