The WCPA Specialist Group on Other effective area-based conservation measures (OECMs) is excited to debut a brand new training slide deck! With 90+ slides, this resource for trainers can be used to introduce stakeholders to OECMs, dive into the criteria for recognition and the intricacies of assessment, and explore monitoring, reporting and strengthening OECMs. Trainers are welcome to adapt the deck to their own needs, changing slides or cutting modules. Each slide's notes expand on the slide content and provide additional detail. The content is based on the newest Good Practice Guidelines on OECMs, published last year.
