I am very pleased to share that I have passed my PhD viva with minor corrections! πŸ† I started this journey in September 2019, and I have been lucky enough to be supported by a fantastic team of supervisors: Tim Newbold, Terry Dawson  and Nina Bhola from UCL, KCL and UNEP-WCMC respectively.

πŸ“• My doctoral thesis explores how we can future proof mammal conservation in the face of climate and land use change; I have further developed my scientific writing, public speaking, and coding skills in R and Python based ArcGIS.

🌍 I have been fortunate to present my PhD research at the British Ecological Society (BES) Annual Meetings, the World Biodiversity Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and the International Conservation Congress in Kigali, Rwanda. I was also a lead author for a policy briefing with the BES on Protected Areas and Nature Recovery, and I undertook a UKRI policy internship with Natural England which I thoroughly enjoyed.

πŸ’Ό I am now looking for my next challenge. I have a special interest in science policy, but I am open to discuss any opportunities in the field of environmental science and conservation biology. Please do get in touch if you are aware of any open positions within your network.
