Recently, Eliud Masereka, Emmanuel Okech and Siya Aggrey from Uganda Wildlife Research and Training College in Kasese, trained and supported by American filmmaker David McGowan, released a compelling film elucidating this vital concept.

Key Principles of One Health:
- **Interdependence:** Human, animal, and ecosystem health are intricately connected and reliant on each other.
- **Collaboration:** Various sectors, disciplines, and communities must unite to enhance health and well-being.
- **Holistic Approach:** Beyond diseases, factors like environmental conditions, climate variations, and other influences on health are also considered.
One Health strives to optimize health issues sustainably through collaborative, interdisciplinary efforts across sectors and disciplines. This strategy is pivotal in effectively addressing emerging and recurring diseases, including zoonoses, alongside health threats stemming from climate change, environmental degradation, and biodiversity loss.
