Zulfu Farajli (He/him) Zulfu has extensive experience in ornithological surveys, nature-based solutions, and environmental impact assessments and is currently an ESC volunteer with an NGO in Croatia focused on protecting avian biodiversity. As a birder and early-career conservationist, he is passionate about contributing to environmental protection and sustainability. He is excited to be part of RCF24ENCA and to engage with other like-minded youth from around the world, working together to make a positive impact on our planet’s ecosystems.
Abi Gardner (She/her) Abi is an ecological scientist working in policy tackling biodiversity loss and the climate emergency. Her expertise spans ecosystem services, nature-based solutions and wider ecological conservation and environmental management, as well as experience in environmental behaviour change, co-design and decision-making. She is currently working on 30x30 for Scotland, developing the national policy and guidance for implementing the global target of 30% of land safeguarded for nature by 2030. She is founder and coordinator of the UK chapter of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network, representing the youth voice at COP15 and in wider biodiversity policy and decision-making.
Tazarf Shamirova (She/her) Tazarf is a junior conservationist who is passionate about wildlife preservation and sustainable development. Since 2023, she has been working with the Tajikistan Nature Foundation, where she has deepened her commitment to protecting wildlife and empowering communities to become active stewards of their environment. Beyond conservation, she enjoys teaching English to non-native speakers and sharing knowledge across cultures. She is excited to be a part of IUCN’s RCF24ENCA and is eager to build dynamic networks for a greener, more connected future.
Suela Tahiraj (She/her) Suela is a dedicated individual with expertise in coaching and auditing based on GSTC standards. She has a strong Economics and Tourism Management background, which she uses to support tourism businesses in achieving certifications. Suela's empathetic and organized approach extends beyond her profession into her volunteer work with environmental NGOs and the United Nations Youth Advisory Group in Albania. Her mission is to drive positive change in the travel industry, promoting responsible practices and inspiring others to embrace sustainability.
