The RCF24ENCA is looking for six (6) youth volunteers from Europe and North and Central Asia who are innovative thinkers and passionate about biodiversity, nature conservation, climate change, and sustainable development to join our team. These volunteers will help facilitate intergenerational events and manage meeting spaces throughout the RCF.

The upcoming RCF24ENCA will take place in Bruges, Belgium, a UNESCO World Heritage city. The forum is the premier opportunity for IUCN’s community in this region to present its work on sustainable issues and conservation priorities in advance of the next IUCN quadrennial programme. In-person attendance is required, with arrival on 29 September and departure on 3 October. The RCF takes place from 30 September to 2 October and there is a day of RCF-associated excursions on 3 October.

Candidate Profile:
•    Demonstrated leadership and passion for nature conservation, biodiversity, climate change, or sustainable development.
•    Between 18 and 35 years of age.
•    From Europe, North or Central Asia.
•    Demonstrated experience or engagement with IUCN.
•    Event volunteer and assistance experience.
•    Able to volunteer in person for all dates of the RCF [29 Sept - 3 Oct].
•    Available to volunteer for up to five (5) hours per week in months leading up to the RCF. Please note that necessary hours may increase slightly as the Forum nears.
•    Ability to operate in one (1) or more of the languages of IUCN [English, French, and Spanish]
