Join us in celebrating the impact and legacy of 12 years of BIOPAMA's support to Caribbean conservationists.
The BIOPAMA programme - from Knowledge to Action - has played a crucial role in enhancing biodiversity conservation and the management of protected areas in the Caribbean. Since its inception, the programme has empowered civil society organizations (CSOs), protected area managers, and policymakers to improve their work, strengthen institutional capacities, and enhance decision-making through data-driven approaches.
As this phase of the programme comes to a close, IUCN is organising this final online event as part of the broader “BIOPAMA Legacy in the Caribbean” knowledge management exercise. This event will provide an opportunity to share the key results on the Regional Observatory CPAG (Caribbean Protected Areas Gateway) and its information system, the Grantees' outcomes and lessons learned, and inform recommendations for future projects and grants in the Caribbean.
