Tropical glaciers are fascinating and dynamic ecosystems but many are rapidly vanishing. We completed the first IUCN Red List of Ecosystems assessment of a tropical glacier ecosystem, with sobering results for the Cordillera de Mérida in Venezuela 🏔️🇻🇪.
